Labor Day Celebration
Memphis AFL-CIO Labor Day Celebration, at IBEW Local 1288, 4000 Clearpool Circle, Memphis TN 38118
We will show our community that "Its Better In a Union! Join us as we celebrate working people in the Mid-South. We look forward to sharing this Labor Day Celebration with working families and our community friends, allies, and partners. All funds raised will be used to continue to fight for working families, support our Workers Interfaith Network partners, and to fund our ability to fight for the needs and worker rights of all workers. Participants in the cooking competition will compete for the best whole wings, sliders, or homemade desserts. The prize for teams is $750 for wings and/or sliders and $300 for homemade desserts. Want to taste the competition, purchase $20 Wristbands. There will be other food for those attending. Bring the WHOLE family. Fun for everyone.
